Nahda University

Nahda University is located in Benisuef city northern cairo , Nahda university is one of Thebes Education Group , which is an group that leads institutions to provide educational services , Nahda University is a private university in cairo that has a pretty good reputation.

Nahda is an Arabic word that translates to Renaissance in English , so the name has to do with the Egyptian new political history , since sa’ad zaghloul’s activism led to Renaissance of the Egyptian people .

Nahda University has six different colleges ( faculties ) :

1- Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine of Nahda University .
2- Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science of nahda university .
3- Faculty of Mass Communication of nahda university .
4- Faculty of Computer Science of nahda university .
5- Faculty of Marketing and Business Administration of nahda university .
6- Faculty of Marketing and Business Administration of nahda university .

The Faculty awards a Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Medicine. .Once the introduction of post-graduate studies is approved, the Faculty will award the following degrees:

Graduate Diploma in various specializations of dentistry (a clinical degree) Msc. D. in specializations of dentistry (a specialized academic degree) Ph.D. in Oral and Dental Medicine (a specialized academic degree) Graduate Diploma in various specializations of dentistry (a clinical degree) Msc. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science

Faculty of Pharmacy consists of the following academic departments:

Faculty' Rules of Admission and Transfer:

Applicants must hold Thanwiya Amma/ Science or any equivalent certificate. Non-Egyptianapplicants who hold Thanawiya Amma or equivalent foreign certificates may be admitted to the Faculty. Faculty Council, after the University's approval, may accept students holding B.Sc. from Faculty of Medicine, faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Sciences (in the specialization of chemistry or biology) or Faculty of Veterinary Science. Courses taught at these faculties are to be compared to those taught at Nahda University and applicants will be exempted from studying equivalent courses provided that they do not exceed 50 percent of the total credit hours required for graduation.

A student will be granted the Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Faculty of Mass Communication

The Faculty Awards the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication in the
Following Specializations:

--Public Relations and Mass Media

Rules of Admission and Transfer:

The Faculty accepts holders of Thanawiya Amma or equivalent certificates. For admission to the English Section the student must satisfy the requirements set by the University Council all provided that medical examinations prove that the student is fit for study. Students from similar faculties or institutes whether equivalent or nonequivalent may transfer to the Faculty provided that they earned the required minimum total score and that this does not conflict with the rules and constraints set by the Supreme Council of Private Universities and University Council.

Hardware is updated on a 12 to 36 months schedule. Software is always up to date with all the latest versions. Students enjoy access to 6 specialized labs among other facilities. All students are connected through a high speed wireless lan and intranet.

The faculty accepts students with Secondary School certificates with minimum scores of 55%
